BIOGRAPHY
Jose Fuentes, Creative Director of the Jose Fuentes Atelier firm, has a long history in the world of fashion with more than 20 years of experience in it. Already during his childhood in Cádiz, he was always very familiar with the world of sewing and clothing. His grandfather was a tailor and his grandmother was an embroiderer, for this reason he always played with pieces of fabric and patterns as a child. In her adolescence, she knew that the world of fashion attracted her a lot and that is when she began to sketch and learn to sew.
At the age of 19, she went to Madrid to study business and that is when she realized that her calling was certainly the world of fashion, so she decided to go to Paris to study Fashion Design at ESMOD. She was very fortunate to be able to study with the best teachers who taught her how to sketch, sew, Moulage techniques and freehand pattern making. With great pride he always comments that he feels very lucky to have gone hand in hand with the great masters of High Fashion such as Pierre Cardin, Ted Lapidus and André Courrèges. Once he finished his studies, he was awarded, having the great privilege of working for the House of Dior and the House of Nina Ricci.
His creations are a reference in Spain in all the major Galas and “Red Carpets”, as well as events of utmost importance and relevance, dressing the best Celebrities on the national and international scene.
